Sacramento Performance Marine formed in March of 2009 in response to the sudden and urgent need facing Sacramento boaters who had lost their selling dealers.
Tim and Keri Jacobs, formerly of North River Marine in West Sacramento, opened Sacramento Performance Marine to continue to offer the highest level of quality service that their customers had come to expect from North River. Along with Tim and Keri, Ron Panter, lead technician, brings his own decades of experience in the boat repair and service field.
Sacramento Performance Marine is a full service repair and rigging shop. We can offer retail service on all major brands of outboard motors, stern drives, and inboards. Full installation services are available for electronics, trolling motors, kicker motors, downriggers, stereos, and more. We have been entrusted with the service work for multiple commercial agencies, including the California Dept. of Fish and Game, the West Sacramento Police and Fire Departments, as
well as numerous other local and state agencies that need their boats ready to go at all times. In addition to fishing boats, our backgrounds are heavily laced with experience with inboard and V Drive ski and wakeboard boats. Tim spent years as a competitive driver for waterski tournaments, and knows how an inboard ski boat should drive and handle. Ron also brings years of high performance racing outboard skill with him, making him a master at setting up Hi Speed Bass boats and performance craft. Finally, customers will have the pleasure of dealing with Keri in the office, as hundreds of North River buyers have come to expect over the last few years. She will keep you updated and informed of the status of your boat while it is with us, so you won't have to constantly call and check on it.
We work with all major insurance carriers, and can provide both fiberglass and paint work thru our relationships with quality vendors. Also offering warranty work for both Yamaha and Mercury outboards, as well as both Mercruiser and Volvo Penta stern drives. Marine Power inboards, as well as Hamilton jet pumps, are also brands we have a working relationship with, and can handle all your service needs.
Our facility offers secure, indoor storage. Your boat will never be left out in the rain, sun, or wind, and you can safely leave your gear and valuables in your boat while it is with us for service. Our facility is equipped with 24 hour video camera monitoring, giving you peace of mind that your boat is in the best of care. Our partners in our facility, 24 Hour Boat and RV Storage, can also offer both short and long term storage for your boat at any time of the year.
